Pärnu is easy to get to, and difficult to leave because of its relaxed and adventurous atmosphere! On the map of Europe you will find Estonia in the North-East of Europe, west from Russia, south from Finland, east from Sweden. Pärnu is located right between Riga and Tallinn.
From Helsinki and Stockholm the easiest way to get here is by flying to Tallinn, Estonia or Riga, Latvia. St Petersburg and Moscow are accessible both, by car, train and airplane. Pärnu is almost half-way between Riga and Tallinn on the international Via Baltica or E67 road.
Only 1.5-2 of hours by car from each. Pänru also has a small airport for private jets and small planes. Scheduled flights to and from Stockholm take place throughout the summer season.
The largest port of Estonia is in Tallinn where ferries from Helsinki arrive almost every hour. One can also sail to Pärnu – there is a yachting marina for sailors.
